Interesting collision of 80's synth and 90's indie with touches of industrial. I found it easier to follow with headphones or a decent stereo. Laptop speakers don't convey the low end, which steers the melodic content. That sounds pretentious.
Partially. I mean that there's a lot going on; complex guitar chords, samples, keyboard pads. Which notes the bass chooses to reinforce will push it in a certain direction. Like a painting with a complex palette - it will have a different feeling depending on the ground all those colors are on top of.
