This guy, Sean David, goes to comic conventions and has artists do sketches of David Bowie. He's got lots of big names from indie comics (oxymoron?). He's posted scans of the sketchbook on Flickr.

On Monday, a copy of Action Comics #1, featuring the first appearance of Superman, sold for $1,000,000 (setting a new record).

A mere three days later, on Thursday, Detective Comics #27, featuring the first appearance of Batman, Sold for $1,075,000.

Proving once again what we all already knew;
Batman is cooler than Superman.

I JUST WANT TO SEE YOUR FACE

...from Norway band Serena-Maneesh's upcoming second album. I didn't like this track at first, now I can't stop listening to it. 

Interesting collision of 80's synth and 90's indie with touches of industrial. I found it easier to follow with headphones or a decent stereo. Laptop speakers don't convey the low end, which steers the melodic content. That sounds pretentious.
